Westbound lane closures will be implemented on Ferrari Ranch Road, from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m., on Friday, Sep. 3, as part of the Lincoln Bypass project. One westbound lane will remain open at all times to facilitate vehicle passage during the short-term lane closures. The westbound lanes are closed Friday to allow construction crews to apply traffic striping on Ferrari Ranch Road for the next stage of construction.
The next stage of construction will add right turning lanes for the north and southbound Route 65 on-ramps, and is expected to last 2-1/2 months.
Of particular interest, throughout this construction phase, the westbound Ferrari Ranch Road sidewalk will be closed between Groveland Lane and Caledon Circle.
Pedestrian traffic on the westbound Ferrari Ranch Road sidewalk will be directed to use the pedestrian crossing at either Groveland Lane or Caledon Circle to travel on the eastbound Ferrari Ranch Road sidewalk between those crossroads.
Pending weather, the work for this stage of the project is scheduled to be completed by Nov. 19, with the westbound Ferrari Ranch Road sidewalk to be re-opened at this time.
The Lincoln Bypass will open to the public on schedule in 2012.
